MailPilot: AI email auto-reply workflows for busy support inboxes.
MailPilot is a developer-friendly email auto-reply workflow for e-commerce support teams drowning in 200+ customer emails a day. It classifies every message (inquiry / complaint / return / partnership / spam), detects sentiment and urgency, drafts on-brand replies with your variables, and escalates the risky ones to a human — with a transparent decision flow you can audit.
Built for the 200+ emails/day e-commerce support inbox. Draft, don't auto-send.
How the workflow runs
Ingest
Connect your support inbox (IMAP / helpdesk webhook). Every new email lands in the queue.
Classify
A transparent rule engine tags each email: inquiry, complaint, return/exchange, partnership, or spam.
Score
Sentiment polarity (-1..+1) and urgency (0..10) are computed from signal words — never a hidden model.
Draft
A reply is drafted from your pre-approved template, with {{customer_name}}, {{order_id}}, {{agent_name}} filled in.
Route
Safe replies are queued for send; high-urgency, angry, or complaint emails are escalated to a human with a note.
email → classify → score(sentiment, urgency) → if spam: quarantine → if escalate: human+note → else: draft from template → queue for send

FAQ
Which email types does it handle?
Inquiry, complaint, return/exchange, partnership, and spam — each with its own reply template and routing.
Does it send emails automatically?
No. MailPilot drafts and routes; a human or your existing helpdesk sends. You stay in control of the send button.
How does sentiment and urgency work?
A transparent rule engine scores polarity (-1..+1) and urgency (0..10) from signal words; the score drives escalation, never a hidden model.
Is it free?
Yes — the Free tier drafts replies for a limited number of emails per day. Paid tiers add volume, team inboxes, and audit logs.
What languages does MailPilot support?
The interface and generated drafts are in English. The classifier reads the customer email in its original language and replies in that language when the model understands it.
Is my customer data safe?
Inputs are used only to generate your draft and are never sold. Retention, sub-processors, and your rights are described on our Privacy page; Enterprise can include a DPA on request.
Which countries can I use it in?
As a cloud web app, MailPilot is reachable from any country with internet access. Payment availability via our merchant of record (Waffo Pancake) may vary by processor and region.
